These folk are a mixture of people from the Wellington churches and were voted in at the 2023 AGM.
Christine is married to Steve. Originally from Lewisham South London, Christine moved to Wellington five years ago. She has two grown up sons and three grandchildren all teenagers. Together with her husband Steve she is a volunteer for Release International, selling donated jewellery to help Christians in other countries who suffer persecution because of their faith. She has been active in church life and Churches together in Wellington since moving here.
John, along with his wife Chris, have passionately served the Wellington community for many years. The Churches Together team has been at the heart of this, but they have also been very involved in both Wellington Baptist Church and other local activities. John loves to talk... about his faith, tractors and his family! He is also a committed volunteer with the Foodbank, 'Good News for Everyone', TEAR Fund and the Bible Society.
Paddy is an active member of St.John Fisher RC Church and has been serving the Churches Together community for some time.
Kevin became a Christian in his youth and met his wife Julie at a Church Conference in South Wales. Their first home was in Plymouth where their 3 daughters were born. Their family have now grown up and they love it when the grandchildren come to visit them!
Kevin has served in church leadership in Plymouth, Coventry and Taunton before moving to Wellington in 2016 to be part of Living Light Church. Kevin was set in as an elder in Jan 2018 and both he and Julie have a passion to see the lives of ordinary people transformed through hearing the good news about Jesus.
